Request for Funding

Request for Funding and Scholarship



The following guidelines were developed by the MHRETAC Grants Committee to assist you with your request for funding from the Mile-High RETAC.


  • All funding requests must be completed on the MHRETAC Request for Funding/Scholarship form

  • All requests must be submitted 2 weeks prior to each formal MHRETAC Board of Directors meeting which are held on the 3rd Thursdays in January, March, May, July, September and November

  • The grant process is on-going throughout the year

  • Each request must demonstrate a brief financial need statement

  • Each request must provide a benefit to the service your agency provides

  • If the request is for a conference, the person must prove attendance and identify who and when conference information was shared with others

  • All appropriate copies of receipts must accompany the follow-up information

  • All receipts and follow-up documents are due to Shirley Terry within 2 weeks of the completion of the event

  • Notice of approval or denial will be communicated within one week following the MHRETAC Board of Directors Meeting and vote
