Increase Teen Seat Belt Use: Take the Challenge!
Whether a teen dies in a car crash may depend simply on whether he or she was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. Car crashes are the leading cause of death for young people between the ages of 16-20 years old, and drivers between those ages also have the highest crash rate per mile driven. To ameliorate these troubling facts the Mile-High RETAC a Government 115 and a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, introduced the MILE-HIGH TEEN SEAT BELT CHALLENGE.
The MILE-HIGH TEEN SEAT BELT CHALLENGE is a friendly competition, and a fun way for participating high schools to increase seat belt use among teens. When teens from local high schools get involved in the Challenge they have a real chance to make a serious difference in the community.
