Care of the Patient is Priority One
A coordinated and quality emergency medical and trauma system is the result of qualified and caring partners sharing a common mission and goal. Patient care is the focus of every agency and individual that makes up the Mile-High RETAC service system.
MHRETAC 2009 to 2011 Goals
- Create a solid identity for the MHRETAC
- Administer the MHRETAC Ambulance Inspection Grant
- Administer the C-DOT Injury Prevention Grant
- Conduct Hospital Data Collection, Project and EMS Data Collection, Project as Quality Improvement, Projects through Destination Committee
- Integrate with other organizations to assist the medical community in its ability to respond to an all-hazards event
- Actively participate in the Statewide Needs Assessment Project
- Support standardization among the counties in the Multi-county Ambulance Licensing Committee
- Develop a data base for all types of caches and develop a process for accessing these resources
- Develop a task force to explore developing the SMART program regionally
- Support EMS Legislation
- Begin pre-planning efforts for 2nd Annual EMS Safety Summit
- Write ASPER (HPP) Grant and distribute acquired equipment and supplies
